Description
12 CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES include: concrete mixer; asphalt paver; boom lift (cherry picker); dump truck; crane; backhoe loader; grader; front-end loader; forklift; road (drum) roller; bulldozer; and, excavator (digger). On the reverse of the photo side of the card, each vehicle is named. Also provided is a description of the work each vehicle does and along with the standout features that make it recognizable.
The laminated set of 12 are glued on 1mm white cardboard and each card has a handle which is easily grasped by the child. All twelve cards stand in the black metal holder which is light and has smooth rounded edges. However, you would most likely provide fewer than twelve at one time. Anyone who has taught little boys knows they love vehicles. We avoid putting the objects themselves in the classroom as boys then rarely move to other possibilities in the room. However, boys (and/or girls!) deserve some vehicle cards to fulfil their great interest.
