Description
STICKS IN A JAR includes: base tray with a ‘cup holder’ to steady the jar; parmesan jar with 11 holes; and,
11 wooden sticks that have a wooden knob to indicate where the child may hold the stick.
Note: colour of tray and knobs on sticks may vary.
This is an extremely popular 0-3 activity. In my experience, it is an ice breaker, the one which repeatedly entices the shyest newcomer to the classroom on Orientation Day. See also Sticks In A Jar, Smaller Version, as an extension of this activity.
