7 WHALES include the translucent box and matching cards for each of the following whales: orca, humpback, sperm, beluga, gray, narwhale, and blue.
CARDS: Each card provides some indication of the size of the whale. Although the manufacturer made the blue whale look similar to the rest, this whale is actually the largest mammal in the world; thus, its card is longer to accentuate this fact for children. I’ve also included an extra card in the same size to show how much larger a blue whale is in comparison to man, a giraffe, a bear or an elephant.
BOX: The translucent plastic box is approximately 24cm (9.5″) long x 8cm (3.5″) high x 7.5cm (3″) deep. Cards and whales fit easily inside together. This container is good both for presentation and for storage. As always, having variety when presenting language is a plus, and this container is eye-catching to a child.
